We work for Him....

I have been thinking ALOT the past week or so - a text was sent to me from a friend in reply to my text about having a frustrating day at work. Things were going down on the network and couldn't find people to get to look at things - callers not listening - grrrrrr. He sent me a text and said in it "remember we work for Him". As I read the text, over and over again - the words hit me right in the face, like an uppercut I never saw coming - mentally I was laid out on the canvas. We work for Him.

Although BCBST pays me every two weeks - God allows me to work there; I depend on God for my job, God gave me this job - I should glorify Him. The way I interact with my co-workers, customers and management should be a reflection of Christ living in me - and this is true no matter where we are; at home, school, restaurant, store - just pick anywhere on this earth - we are to be a reflection of Jesus. I had been thinking, have I been a good steward with this what God has given me; have I given glory to God in my attitude while on the job - have I been the salt of the earth that Jesus spoke about, have a been a shining light for His glory?

We have but one life, let us live it all for Him; we can compartmentalize our lives - all that we do, all that we are - it is all to God - Glorify Him!!!
